Milan's Train Grind To A Halt

After the first Leg encounter between Ac Milan and Barcelona at San Siro, which saw the home side cruise to a 2-nil win, their cruising train into the quarter final came to a halt at the Camp Nou.
The Italian side went to their counterparts home ground and were treated to a defeat. A 4-nil win to Barcelona was recorded as two early goals from Lionel Messi in the first half cancelled out the 2 goal deficit they has earlier suffered.

The Italian side looked on to grab a goal from Niang, but the striker could only watch his effort hit the post. Ten minutes into the second half, David Villa found the back of the net for the Blaugrana sides to give them a lead. And then a late counter attack sealed the win with goal from Jodi Alba. The Italians failed to make their 2 goal lead count and could only watch as their ticket to the quarter final slip away from them.
It was a night full of surprises...
